The Artist Paola Seguel Plateo
I’m Paola Seguel, a multidisciplinary artist with a deep passion for art as a path to healing and expression. Since I was a child, drawing and creating have been my refuge and my way of sharing love with those around me.
I grew up in Chile, in a family that always valued mental health and well-being, thanks to my father, a respected psychiatrist who helped many people. But my artistic path wasn’t always easy—there were those who doubted me, and that uncertainty only strengthened my desire to keep creating.
Life took me to live in several countries—Sweden, New Zealand, and the United States—where I learned to open my eyes, understand other cultures, and deepen my knowledge of art and psychology. Each place left its mark, reflected in my work.
The Atacama Desert in Chile deeply touched me; there I found a connection with nature and myself that continues to inspire me today. My art has been shown in exhibitions across countries, and recently I had the blessing to present my work in my homeland with the show “Angels and Transformations,” sharing stories of life, spirituality, and love.
Besides painting and designing jewelry, I love helping elderly people through art workshops that stimulate both mind and heart.
I believe art has the power to heal and bring us together, and it’s from this place of love and service that I live my creativity every day.
